Joe Longshore II- For nearly two decades Joe has shared the sweat lodge and  wilderness skills with thousands of individuals in local schools, colleges and universities, international corporations and in classes of his own design on his land in northern New York State. He is a graduate of a dozen classes from the famed Tracker School and has honed his skills as a naturalist through Jon Young's Wilderness Awareness School Kamana Course and his own extensive studies. A broad background in many forms of meditation and martial arts complements his wilderness and nature awareness skills. When not teaching the nature and spirit skills of the wild Joe works in physical therapy and raises two young sons with his wife Sue.

Todd Bettinger-Todd Bettinger apprenticed seven years at premier yoga retreats and teaches dynamic forms of chanting and meditation that are universally effective. He is a psychology professor for the SUNY system and specializes in the emerging field of applied spiritual psychology. Students testify that the fusion of these methods assists them in actualizing practical, integral, and successful living in today's modern world.


Roger L. Stevenson-Roger began practicing the wilderness skills of Tom Brown jr.  with a close friend while still in his teens and attended the Tracker School later in his adulthood. A practiced hunter, fire keeper of countless sweatlodges, and retired 18 year veteran of two branches of the U.S. military Roger is a vital foundational member of the Ancient Skills School. When not wandering the woods of Northern New York or teaching wilderness skills Roger raises 3 daughters with his wife and their two very large dogs Timber and Fang.


Len Mackey-Len is truly a renaissance man: musician, dancer, writer, Reiki
Master, Let Your Yoga Dance instructor, sweat lodge facilitator,
photographer, painter, instrument maker, and lover of all life. Len
currently accompanies modern dance for SUNY College at Potsdam, and
teaches the west African djembe orchestra, at Potsdam and St. Lawrence
University as a guest artist. Len is a member of Caridanco dance
company. Forever a student of the indigenous teachings of the heart,
Len is eternally searching for the simple truths that unite all cultures
in peace, love, joy and purpose.
